Best Jeans

I'm a really odd shape. Just under 6ft.

31 inside leg and a long body/trunk 🤣

Size 10-12 legs, but after 2 kids, size 16 waist with a bit of an "apron" going on!

Whenever I buy jeans of any kind of style I always end up with the dreaded camel toe. I get the smaller size 14 to fit the legs as best they can but then I have to yank then up to disguise apron/muffin top resulting in said toe!

It really reduces my options in tops as I am always having to buy tops that are long enough to cover it up.

Can anyone recommend a really good high waisted jean (up to £40) that won't make me look like I'm smuggling a saharan desert dweller in my jeans?

TIA

i bought a pair of black Lee Scarlett ones on Amazon the other day - varying prices but for my size they were £26 - bargain!!

Buy your proper size and wear a belt?

StupidUsernameUnavailable · 04/03/2022 06:38

@Branleuse

When I do buy a size 16 that are massive on my legs. Skinny ones look absolutely ridiculous. I have a pair of boot cut ones, Size 16 that I do wear a belt with and instead of the toe I just get bunching there.

itll just be about finding what stores jeans fit you. Im hourglass/pear shaped, so jeans have often been a struggle, but if you get them with a bit of stretch in, you soon learn which stores jeans work. I cant wear primark jeans or h&m jeans, but i get on well with tu at sainsburies and marks and spencer jeans.

Maybe camel toe could be avoided by the type of knickers you wear too, but you will give yourself thrush if you wear too tight jeans surely

Agree with pp - you need to find where does the best jeans for you. And that might take a LOT of trying on! For me FatFace jeans always seem to work - might be worth a try?

How about buying the size 16 and taking them to a tailor?

H&M high waist flare. They are beautiful - nice thick denim, with a slight stretch. So flattering and long. More bootcut than flare & £24.99.

Marks and Spencer boyfriend jeans in Indigo colour.

Also Boden girlfriend jeans in grey.

Both quite supportive. I am a pear shape.

Marks and Spencer Sienna jeans are gorgeous, they have a bit of stretch in so I can get a smaller size and they are sooo comfortable. They are about £19.
