Which colour bag?

I don’t often post in style and beauty, because I’m lacking in both really! But have decided to invest in a cross body bag. Considered more upmarket Designers, but if I’m honest I won’t ever own anything else designer, so that’s not really me.

I really like the Aspinall camera A bags. I just can’t decide colour! I’m stuck between black pebble and bluebell pebble - preference is probably the Bluebell, but don’t know if I should play it safe?

Any thoughts appreciated - Ps. They have money off at moment so good time to buy.

Definitely the black.
It will match all outfits.
The blue doesn't look as 'upmarket' as the black and it's more of a colour I'd use to match an outfit and use for an occasion.

I think go for the one you really like. I have a Kate Spade bag in that shade of blue and used to wear it quite a lot. If it's the only one you are going to get, I'd go for the one that really lights your fire.

Ah conflicting opinions! I kind of agree with both of you.. probably best option is to buy but not get any personalisation/initials and worst case scenario I can return.

I’d get the bluebell but I dress quite plainly so I like a bit of colour on my bag!

I'd go for black but only because I've been looking for a good black cross body recently so am drawn to them.

My daily bag is a bright purple and I love it but I don't wear a lot of colour so it matches everything I wear.

I forgot to add in that the bluebell is also lovely and a good option because I have the purple one.

It's a lovely bag OP. Personally I would go with black just because the bluebell wouldn't go with a lot of my spring/summer clothes. But then I am one to play it safe!!

The Orange one. A lovely 'pop' of colour.

I always think go for colour! It'll go with much more than you think and adds something to your outfit. A black cross body is boring. The bluebell colour will look great with fuschias/magentas, lilacs, turquoise, egg shell green, any brown and navy and particularly denim.

If you truly love the blue, get it. If you don’t you will only hanker after it forever. The black is definitely more versatile though. Suggest looking on eBay also. I bought an immaculate Aspinal bag there last year about a third of usual price.

I like the blue best. I haven't got a cross body bag but if I do get one I think I'll look for one in green.

Love the Bluebell, but if you are tending toward the black because you think you 'should' then do you like the Burgundy? I always think this is quite a good colour, goes with everything.

With a cross body bag, bear in mind what you will wear it with, as the colour of the strap will obviously cross your torso, and can clash with your clothes. In the spring/summer I tend to use my off-white or tan colour cross body bags the most as they tone in with my clothes. In winter I'd use the black. I don't like black bags in the summer as I don't wear many black clothes in the summer.
If you wear a lot of denim and white the blue could look good.

I really like the black but if the bluebell one is the one your hanker after then I think you should go for that one and then buy new clothes to go with it

I love the Bluebell bag . My super stylish dd has a similar colour bag ( Italian brand ) and it lifts all her outfits.

Blue is beautiful! Gorgeous for summer. I’m quite off black leather

I quite like the navy as an alternative black.
