Earrings under £30 - recommendations

Startingtomoveon · 03/03/2022 07:33

I wondered if anyone could recommend where to buy some decent earrings for under £30 please? The posts must be silver/titanium due to allergy. I like fairly simple designs, stud or a small drop, and more smart/elegant than very casual.

I’ve had a look at Etsy and NOTHS but it is just a bit overwhelming with choice; I don’t like Accessorize and most other High St retailers selections.

Are these too casual? I love this Etsy shop, everything is fantastic quality and has never triggered my annoying metal allergies.

Solace do earrings specifically for allergies. You get titanium ones and stainless steel ones. Huge range of options. Would recommend! (No I don't work for them I just really like their stuff)

Someone posted about Helix and Conch recently and I’ve just had a couple of the silver tiny hoops delivered, they’re so pretty and look way more expensive than they are.

I had a Maria Tash habit for a while but couldn’t keep that up as not actually rich.

I always find nice ones in TK Maxx for about £15. They have lots of sterling silver, or gold-plated sterling silver, so no issues with allergies.

Purpleavocado · 03/03/2022 11:11

What do you like? Silver.com is always reasonable

Darklane · 03/03/2022 12:01

Came on to say TKMaxx like the earlier poster.
Their jewellery counter has lots of silver earrings, some gold plated on the silver, pretty much all around the £20 mark or under.

Another vote for Solace. Really good customer service . All their stuff is for very sensitive ears and they’ll refund if you did have a problem. Really good prices and the 3 pairs I’ve got haven’t tarnished.

Lisa Angel.
I'm currently wearing 2 small silver drop earrings that were about £8 in the clearance and people are always asking me where they are from. Someone thought they were Tiffany Shock

We have a local independent jeweller which stocks items by Carrie Elspeth. I think the hooks are all silver - I get on ok with them and I react to almost everything! You might think they are a bit casual though. www.carrieelspeth.co.uk/all-earrings

I'm looking for some for ds's gf's 18th.

nomistake · 04/03/2022 20:13

Orelia. They have a luxe collection which is silver based but still within your price range

pawpaws2022 · 04/03/2022 20:14

Just select earrings and filter by titanium
My ears are REALLY sensitive and I'm happily wearing them
