Looks to be the same ingredients, I'm slightly ashamed to say I bought ten tubs. I'm never letting it get below 4 again, I've wasted a fortune in the last year on expensive products that are rubbish in comparison, because I ran out.

Me too - before I buy some.

I've used it for years.. tbh well over 10. At times ive tried other things, always more expensive, and I keep coming back to it.

It really is the best. It sort of defines and holds curls without being too greasy or too hard.

You don't need much though else it will feel a bit sticky.

Btw there used to be a yellow one for straightening hair... looked like custard. That was even better on curls IMO but I've not seen that for many years.

I bought two tubs for my DD on the back of this thread. She says the formula is different. It works but not quite as well as before.

Just bought 2x tubs from my local Boots - not tried it before and have only recently been trying to embrace my natural curls, so thought it can't hurt at under £2 a pop!

Really sorry to report that the reviews are right: they must have changed the formulation because, on my waves at least, butter would have done a better job!
