I need to find something to wear for a friend's (evening) wedding and need help!! It's going to be the first big party since before Covid and the invitation says 'cocktail dresses'. I gained a lot of lweight during lockdown and now I feel really self-conscious about my shape and looks, being very near my 50th birthday doesn't help. I was wondering about hiring a dress for the party. Anyone have suggestions for how to do this? And what sort of dress to look for? Definitely has to have sleeves and so many dresses seem to be sleeveless or even backless. I do want to make an effort for the party and feel a bit better about myself.
