Help me pick a watch please?

The two contenders are:

  1. Tudor Claire de Rose - white background, blue Roman numerals
  2. Tudor Black Bay - black background, snowflake dial

It’s for wearing every day to the office (my workplace isn’t flashy) but also for special evenings out. This is going to be my first and only luxury watch so I’d like to wear it everywhere.

DH has the men’s version of the black bay and I can’t figure out if it would be cute or cringy to match Blush

I much prefer the second. I think it's more modern

I think they are really different!

What’s the rest of your style?

I much prefer the second, but like a more retro/boho sort of style. I think it’s a bit smarter too.

Thanks for the replies so far!

The rest of my style is pretty boring. Jeans and a jumper most days. Boden dress if I’ve got a meeting. I like to dress up for special occasions but not OOT and pretty minimalist jewellery.

I like how the black bay is bolder and slightly outside my comfort zone, though the clair de rose is beautiful.

I like the first one. The second looks like a man's watch.

GroggyLegs · 01/03/2022 13:32

The second one is more masculine, which is fashionable now, but might look clunky in 10 years.

I prefer the Clair one.

LeroyJenkinssss · 01/03/2022 13:32

First agree the second looks like a man’s watch which may or may not fit with your style.

LeroyJenkinssss · 01/03/2022 13:35

What about the Tudor 1926?

@LeroyJenkinssss

What about the Tudor 1926?
It’s lovely, but if I’m going classic then I’d prefer the Clair de Rose.

Thanks everyone! I guess the Black Bay was just me trying to be trendy and awesome like Lady Gaga (who’s the current face of the model) but I agree that the Clair de Rose is probably better suited for me.
