Dress for Cabaret!

Excited to be going to see Cabaret soon - can't wait!
Can you help me find a dress please? I don't want to go all out fancy dress of course, but would like something that nods more than slightly to the 1930's/decadent Weimar vibe. I would prefer NOT maxi, but most things online seem to be full length.
No floral tea dresses thank you, and sparkliness welcomed! My budget is up to £200 I would say.
Can anyone point me in the right direction please? I've trawled ASOS to no avail. Thank you!

I went today. There were lots of sparkly skirts. Id say Christmas kind of outfits. I enjoyed it when do u go?

For dresses I usually look on the Simply Be site (for size 10 & over); Rver Island & also the Next site.

Next sell labels such as Lipsy, Quiz, Chi Chi London, Sistaglam, Missguided etc.
I did a search on Simply Be for 'sequin dresses' and lots came up at various prices.

Hope you have a great time!

Oh no!
Do we have to dress up???
Was looking forward to going just to enjoy the show, didn't realise we would be part of the performance.Confused

I’m going next week (so excited!) I’m wearing a wide-legged back velvet jumpsuit if that gives you any inspiration Grin

No you dont need to dress up. The people sitting by the stage are sat around tables as if they are in the club. If youve paid £200 than you have to be abit smart😃

Sorry I never came back - I didn't think anyone was going to respond! I found a sequin midi dress with an Art Deco design which was perfect. The show was great. I would say you'd regret not dressing up for it, wherever you sit. Pre-performance the place is like an immersive 1930s nightclub experience and I'm glad I didn't wear my normal theatre going style!!
