Can anyone recommend a decent mascara?

I've tried Clinique tubing mascara and Benefit Roller Lash and find both terribly clumpy.

I'd prefer a tubing one, but it's not essential.

I recently tried the nars climax extreme and it’s amazing, great volume and not clumpy at all.

Glossier! I think it's tubing... it goes on without clumping and doesn't smudge or shift. Not super dramatic, but so easy to wear. I love it.

Christian Dior Pump n Volume £28

Lancôme Hypnose (the original one, not Hypnose Drama). It's not tubing but is the best mascara I've ever used. No clumping or flaking, no smudges. It's divine!

No 7 tubing one is great- gold tube

L'Oreal Lash Architect has been my go-to for over a decade. I've tried a huge range, including expensive brands, and nothing beats it for gorgeous long, full lashes. I've recommended it to friends who've ended up switching from their previous mascara favourites!

Clinique Lash Power or Mac extended play Gigalash (I think its called) are both tubing.

Don't bother with Kevin Aucoin the packaging is awful and it just ends up a complete mess.

Christian Dior Pump n Volume £28

This is my holy grail and I tried a lot! My boss came back from lunch one day and I thought she'd had extensions and a tint. It's bloody amazing. Silver medal goes to Lancome Monsieur Big.

Others I've tried and binned- Hypnose, Clinique High Impact, Clinique sporty something, Benefit "how to do the panda eye in 5 minutes flat" and everything on the high street. Maybelline used to do a good one in a red shiny tube but not any more.

A few weeks ago on the Dior website you got a P&V and a full sized lipstick for £34 in one of their Christmas gift sets. I get one every year.

The best tubing one I’ve had is Hourglass in the round tube (not the triangle). I’ve tried most tubing mascaras, No7 gold, Kevyn Aucion, L’Oréal in red and white tube, Clinique etc and this is the best.

Another vote for the Dior one. I was fed up with my YSL Faux Cils one, and did a MN search whilst in the beauty dept as I couldn’t decide. The Dior one popped up a few times and I went with that. Very impressed and will rebuy.
