I have a few. One on neck, a couple near arm pit. How do I get rid of them? Any otc treatment that works?

I've used cryotag (you can get it from Boots). It works!

Rocaille · 27/02/2022 23:14

There's another device called TagBand that you can get on Amazon. The reviews are good and I can personally recommend it: used it to remove a skin tag from my hoo-hah after giving birth to DD!

Ooh thanks. Will have a look.

Following!

Tagband is really effective. I had a massive one that I hated and it worked brilliantly. Bit fiddly getting them on but perfect otherwise.

BusterGonad · 28/02/2022 06:32

I've always tied a piece of cotton around them and after a few days they go brown and fall off. It's never failed and I've done it on a tiny one near a friend's eye, on the top of the eyelid. It didn't really show and dropped off soon enough.

psuedocream3 · 28/02/2022 09:13

I've used thread to tie off skin tags then they drop off themselves after drying out and turning black, or apple cider vinegar to burn off larger ones or ones that can't be tied off. Be careful if you use apple cider vinegar as it is an acid and will burn skin that isn't protected, but it is highly effective, took a large lump off my face this way.

Allaboutyou222 · 28/02/2022 12:34

I think mine are too small to tie around.

Cryotag works brilliantly. Mine were very small and fiddly around my eyelid and this stuff zapped them off no problem.

User7853367 · 28/02/2022 19:47

I had mine removed at a beauty salon using electrolysis. They went black and crispy then fell off after a few days.

Isabelle70 · 28/02/2022 21:04

I have used Tag Band, the old version and the easier new version. Really easy and you can buy more bands.

I have one on my face that Im keen to get rid of but cant go to work with a bit of thread on my face!

HouseOfGoldandBones · 28/02/2022 21:31

I am not a Dr. But I just clipped mine off with nail clippers.

irridium · 28/02/2022 21:37

I have them on my neck so I'm not sure how easy it would for me to use these products. I don't have anyone I can ask to help me.

OrionsAccessory · 28/02/2022 21:47

Nip and Fab glycolic fix pads got rid of a skin tag under my eye. I just put a pad over the tag and kept it there for about a minute after washing my face every night. It took a couple of weeks then turned brown and fell off.

There's another version of the TagBand where you can do one handed release, if that helps. The device looks a bit like a pen. I've not used it, but thought it looked much easier.

Tie it on a Friday night, by Monday morning it'll probably be ready.
BusterGonad · 01/03/2022 08:31

Or stick a plaster over it and pretend you've got a cut or something? The thread once on can be cut very short. I did one on my husbands eye lid. He went to work. No once noticed or cared.

ChickenStripper · 01/03/2022 09:15

My H used Cryotag on a big one on his neck he had had for years and it worked.

Allaboutyou222 · 01/03/2022 10:49

Thanks everyone. Have ordered Cyrotag and will report back.

Update. It's gone! Came off this morning after about 3 days tied with dental floss. Success
