Hair help

I've had to put a lot of work into my hair over the last few months to make it feel soft and thick again. It has only just started recovering from my last pregnancy 3 years ago.

In a couple of weekends I need to have it up in a bun with no fly away bits. It's so soft now that grips etc won't stick!

I'm thinking about maybe some mousse before I put it up or hair spray? I need it over 2 days and it's linked to dancing so can't get away without having a shower/washing it. Though obviously not using conditioner when I do would be a start.

Any other advice?

Hairspray?

Are you putting in your Kirby grips 'upside down'?

YY hairspray and you can criss-cross kirby grips

Hairspray as above and also dry shampoo gives good grip

Hairspray will work, but for 'proper' ballet, or dance, buns I always use VO5 mega hold gel spray. Use a fine-tooth comb, too.
