I'm late 40s, my skin is good for my age.

What's the best overnight leave on peel that you have tried?

Should have said, my concern is fine lines, not discolouration.

Not exactly what you asked for but the Dr Dennis Gross peel pads are pretty good. I use them at night and I definitely see a difference the next morning.

I'm after something that is more like a cream.

Not the cheapest but this is a 3 step treatment and it's the strongest at home thing I've ever used
