Ooh this deserves a bump!

I've not bought anything yet but on the hunt for a significant birthday dress.
I'm also reassessing all my clothes as just discovered I'm a Kibbe Soft Dramatic so having fun putting a Pinterest board together.

TiddleTaddleTat · 25/02/2022 17:26

Just lost my post…
I’ll also be reassessing my existing clothes first. Have about £50 to spend and ideally want 2 ‘new’ outfits (could be mixing with old stuff). Will probably be looking at second hand on eBay initially and maybe supermarkets - Asda tends to be the better of the bunch I find.
I’ve discovered I’m soft gamine but find it difficult to find clothes in that style beyond striped Breton tops. I don’t like ballet flats and have very short legs so skinnies don’t suit!

How did you discover what style you are?

House Of Colour style day. I’m natural ingenue.

Not bought anything yet as I’m trying to only replace worn out stuff, or only buy if I’ve sold something first.

I did a wardrobe clear out yesterday and made a list of things

Urgently I want some good white leather trainers as I binned my last pair when they got holes in and have worn boots since.

I got a bright blue cotton jumper (mens from M&S). I have a khaki cotton parka which is very warm. Oh and I ordered some green Alexa trousers from Lucy & Yak.

I also want to get some proper loungewear which is clearly lounge wear (so I can't wear crappy battered harem pants which cost less than a tenner from Amazon out of the house) - I've got very lazy since wfh and it's not good for me.

I have a list of bits I want to replace slowly as I see good and flattering options. I want a few 'classic' bits - well fitting denim jacket is a bit of a holy grail item.

There is a Facebook group called Style Me Happy. The lady who owns it also has a website where you can pay to have a full analysis. I’ve not done it yet but I plan on asking her to sort me out. Starts with body shape of which I have no idea what I am.
chicagononsense · 26/02/2022 09:15

I’m not sure what I’d like. I am hoping to get another job soon so don’t want to spend on clothes for that until I know what the dress code is. I’ve got plenty casual stuff.

Rina66 · 26/02/2022 10:27

I've bought a navy satin overshirt with matching navy satin wide leg trousers- plan to wear with a white vest or stripe t-shirt and white trainers by day and sandals/big earrings by night.

Also I've bought a denim shirt dress, will wear with the satin wide leg trousers.

Would like to get a floral skirt, probably pleated.

I'm loving all of the bright colours, especially the greens, I've bought a few drapey longer sweatshirt tops to wear with jeans.

gunnersgold · 26/02/2022 10:29

White converse leather lift! A yellow shacket and some flare jeans!

itsnotdeep · 26/02/2022 12:15

I'm trying to stick with my wardrobe, but would like a shacket and some new trainers.

KindlyKanga · 26/02/2022 13:50

I could do with some jeans

Boood · 26/02/2022 15:24

I’ve bought a denim shirt dress, which I felt guilty about because I’m trying to cut down on clothes shopping, but I love it and have worn it three times in two weeks.
Also a bikini because I’m going on holiday in a few weeks.
Next on the list are new running shoes and new white leather trainers, both to replace existing ones that are old and battered.
