NC for this, can't be too careful!

I've had my long hair chopped and DH says I've got an old lady 'do 🙄 (offensive I know!). Is it terrible? Pic hopefully attached...

It’s a bit rounded for my liking, but it looks so healthy and in lovely condition.
When you wash it don’t blow it round a brush and mess it up a bit to get the choppy look.

Does he have the hair of a young gentleman?

Funnily enough, during the pandemic he has grown his hair into the style he had as a young gentleman, albeit a lot greyer and a bit thinner. He acknowledges his complete lack of tact!

Yes, it's too round. I think hairdressers see my nice shiny hair and insist on turning it into a lovely smooth helmet No round brushes for me!

I reckon you'll be happier with it when you've blow dried it yourself. Maybe get some of that beach waves spray?

Looks nice. But then I favour a bob. You'll know how happy you are with the cut in a week or 2, have no qualms about dropping a hairdresser if you need to.

I love a shoulder length bob but my hair is thick and wavy, bedhead hair. Just rough it up a bit.

I like it. But then I like classic Louise Brook bobs and don't feel they need to be choppy. It's a lovely colour as well.

I have a wavy bob which is triangular most of the time. Would love yours.

Put in some waves / texture, they could also cut your fringe a little thicker next time (you can also dry/style it more more your photos). Eyeliner.

I personally don't like bobs , you do need to roughy it up a bit to get those pics though . Have you got some straighteners to give it some wave ? I think most men prefer messy natural hair rather than over 'coiffed ' which it is because you have just left the hairdressers .

Who cares what most men prefer? And how do you know? That statement is baffling.

At the risk of being flamed...I've found a lot of men have a preference for long hair... even when the shorter haircut may actually be really nice, more flattering and more fashionable. They don't really care about those things
