Tweaks in your 50s

Never had any aesthetic or cosmetic surgery, just curious of anyone that's had anything done that subtly holds back time in their 50s?

I'm in my 40s but I occasionally have Botox and filler. Non invasive and good results. I was always someone that said I'd never get it done, but there's nothing like feeling confident about the way you look. I do it for me, not anyone else!

Where do you have your Botox and filler's and how often?

I've been getting my number 11's botoxed every 6-9 months for maybe 8 years (51 now). No one has ever called me out on it and it definitely makes a difference in that I look much less disapproving and scowly.
I'm dipping my toe with profhilo too for the first time- I'm getting the second round this week but not sure if there's any discernible improvement.

Same as the PP. My number 11s botoxed every 9 ish months. It makes such a difference and it lasts for ages. Filler in top cheeks which lifts the lower face. I've also had filler under my eyes as they are quite hollow

No one - friends or family have ever noticed. It's very subtle

Growing my hair out of a pixie. Everyone says I look younger!

I get botox on my 11s (between brows) and forehead, to relax the wrinkles & as preventative maintenance to stop them deepening. I asked for it to be subtle and it was. Botox doesn't change the structure of your face, just relaxes the lines. I have been doing this for a year, every 4 months, and plan to continue - I feel it's unobtrusive. Personally I don't want to try fillers yet as they can actually change the shape of your face and they're a different level of intervention from botox. I know that, done well, they can be great, just replacing lost volume, and many women swear by them - so good to have the option one day! But there's one woman on a group I'm on who has basically changed her face with fillers - she looks great, but she looks quite different from the way she did before & like maybe she's the younger sister of her former self. That never happens with Botox - your face is just less wrinkly!
I had a consultation with a very fancy Harley Street clinic about this stuff when I first had Botox. They said thread lifts were a very good thing to have when one needed them, but that I didn't need one yet (50-ish). I expect to do that when my jowls get worse.

I think Botox subtly might be something I would consider I am scared of fillers tbh. Profhilo is another possibility but not in my face but it does get v mixed reviews I think 🤔.
