Anyone had IPL?

I've got some sun damage and broken capillaries on my nose and have found a local salon.
I can cope with 'elastic band flicking' but really only if it works.
If you've had it would you be able to share?

Yes I had five sessions for broken veins.

It did work, but I'll be honest, I didn't see the best results until we'd got past the 'elastic flicking' strength and reached the 'Jesus Christ I'm afraid I'm going to kick you in the head if you keep doing that' notch on the dial.

Thanks @CeleriacOfTheNight, I've booked in for a consultation and a small test to see if I'm suitable and if I can deal with the pain!
