I'm off to a wedding in the summer. I need a dress. I'm size 14 and like to hide as much of myself as possible but look awful in maxi dresses and think I suit more shift type dresses. Might be hot so nothing that shows up sweat marks so I'd like a busy print. Help me please!

Willing to pay up to £200. Those blues are lovely. I like both - first is maybe too long, think I need knee length.

Any particular bits you want to hide?
Is this too fitted?

That's pretty I would like to keep at least the top of my arms covered if possible though.

Nancy Mac dresses are around £200 - less if you find a sale one you like

Lots of patterned blue dresses here

Is your figure curvy or straight?

What are you best points?

bouncydog · 24/02/2022 22:27

What is the dress code?

ElizabethinherGermanGarden · 24/02/2022 22:36

I'm a similar figure to you and have found that some dresses from Hope and Ivy are very flattering. The only downside is that their v necks are very deep and boobs make a bit of a bid for freedom, so if you are generous of bosom you may need to a) embrace it or b) wear a cami.
