Skirt and camisole for May wedding.

I'm going to a wedding in May. Quite excited because I've not worn anything even remotely smart since before covid and children.

I have no idea what's fashionable any more, and haven't bought or worn a dress for a long time. I'd obviously like to look fantastic without spending very much money I'm 5ft 10 and a size 12.

I've seen people looking good in skirt/top combos at formal events, is that still a thing? Would something like the below combination be ok?

Don’t buy the shoes. Everything else will look good though.

Noted! I'd like flats, because I just never feel myself in heels, but I'm absolutely not set on those.
