1950 style jeans.. rockabily.. help please!

Hi , am only 5 foot and a bit. Ive ordered the freddies of pinewood jeans ,but as i am short the waist came far too hight, plus the hips were too wide and I looked like a child.
I was going to order the hell bunny ones ,but the retailer told me that i would have the same issue .
I really need some jeans to wear with all my little vintage blouses.
My waist hip ratio isnt big.. i am 27 waist, 35 hip so i dont dip right in at waist.
My little tops expose flesh so i do need waist hight jeans.
Ive seen the barel leg jeans on boden site.
Also thinking maybe levi 501 and size up.?
Any rockabily ladies out there / vintage dressers that could kindly help !? Thanks

There are also lots of crop 501s around now

I thought the look of the M&S barrel was similar to Freddies and they come in petite sizes: www.marksandspencer.com/high-waisted-balloon-jeans/p/clp60459384

The cut on the leg is definitely not exactly the same but if you play with rolling the hem they look good.

Have you asked them to advise which cut would suit you best? Is it possible you measured too low on the waist? The waist needs to be a reallllly snug fit, otherwise crotch and hips will be swimming.
