Light in the Box.... anyone bought from them?

It's a China based company; reviews tend to be negative about the time scale for clothes to arrive, but quite positive about the products themselves. Interested to hear of anybody's first hand experiences?

I bought a hoodie for DS from them. It did take a while to arrive! It was pretty poor quality but DS thought it was great
I just had to go over some of the stitching.

I bought DD a lovely dress from there. It does take a while to arrive, so just bear that in mind and don't order for a special occasion.

I’ve bought theatre costumes from them several times. Quality has been good, pre-Covid the costume arrived in less than the stated delivery time. Ordered something a few months ago and it took forever to arrive (just scraped in in time for opening night) but that wasn’t necessarily LITB’s fault - lots of things are taking longer to ship. (I’m in Aus - don’t know if that makes a difference)

I bought some cushion covers to brighten up the reception area of an organisation I volunteered at. Took ages to arrive, loved the design but the fabric quality was dire. Looked good and did the job though.

Just adding I’ve ordered things for costumes from several of those Chinese based companies - LITB is one of the better ones quality-wise in my experience.
