Hair colour - highlights?

Hi!

I'm thinking of getting my hair done and asking for highlights, but what do I ask for? Do I have to specify a colour?

My hair is a weird blondey, orangey colour - strawberry blonde?

I've got bluey grey eyes

Is there a certain colour that would suit me best?

Some darker copper and some blonde will look great

I think your hair is quite warm toned, so if you get a full head of highlights it may overall look like this pic (which I personally don’t like that much). You won’t have much contrast between the highlights and your natural colour, and you can’t go too ash blonde due to the tone clash.
