Kevin Aucoin mascara - any good?

Hi is the Kevin Aucoin mascara any good? The tubing one. I have a gift voucher and need new mascara so thought it might make a change from the clinique lash power but if its not worth it I'll just get some shower gel or something instead.

I am about to buy this myself so following this thread. My friend uses it and loves it

OinkyO · 21/02/2022 12:47

It's on offer at cult beauty just in case you were deciding where to buy it :)

IME mascara is one of those products where you don't need to splurge to get great results.

It’s my favourite and I always go back to it. I only use tubing and this gives me nice colour, length and doesn’t clump.

Yes I struggle to find a tubing one for much cheaper though. I've only found clinique, this one and hourglass. I don't use hourglass due to their dodgy shade ranges.

@KatzP thank you do you use the purple one or the red one?

I have been using this for 2 years. It is great. Superb volume and length and stays put all day.

Before that I had been finding even the waterproof ones smudged even though there are loads of mascaras I like. I was avoiding tubing because I thought it was a pain to remove. This one is worth it and comes off quickly with warm water and doesn't damage lashes at all.

KatzP · 21/02/2022 13:49

@OinkyO both. Mainly the red one but I will use both esp if one is on offer or out of stock.

Thank you! It's going in my cart now. :)

I have it, I've very small, deep set eyes and this (and doublewear) are the only ones that don't smudge. I moved from EL as they don't test on animals - although it's a bit of a grey area as they don't claim to be cruelty free apparently. It's really easy to remove - just hot water no actual eye make up remover required.

Iwannabewherethepeopleare · 22/02/2022 00:54

It’s fine, EL doublewear is better

Bought the curling one..the packaging is truly awful. Looks good on the eyes though.
