Double wear light discontinued

Hi, I was a massive fan of double wear light foundation but it has now been discontinued and I am looking for suggestions of what else I can try? Original double wear is too heavy for me and the new replacement double Matt hydra is awful! I have combination skin, oily around nose and chin but my forehead can be dry. I have also tried 3 different Bobbi Brown foundation's and they start off looking great but slide off during the day. All suggestions greatly appreciated.Smile

I’m looking for the same. I currently mix double wear with another foundation but it’s not ideal

I am so annoyed that such a cult product has been discontinued, the reviews for its replacement on the Estée Lauder website are dire. I can only hope that they have a change of heart and bring it back.... until then the search continues.

I feel your pain! First world problems etc but i was gutted when i saw Double Wear Light had gone, I've worn it for years. I got Estee Lauder Futurist Hydra Rescue as a replacement - same colour which made it easy. It's ok, but i don't like it as much as Double Wear Light. PS have similar issues to you in that foundation is likely to slide off, and I find the standard Double Wear too heavy.

Noooo why have they discontinued this! Hate it when that happens.

I switched from doublewear light to Chanel Ultra le Teint - made sure I went to the counter and had a proper test of it though for both shade and wear. Lasts all day and feels like wearing nothing, not cakey etc.

I managed to find a couple of unopened tubes being sold on eBay that will get me through until I find a replacement, you could try that.

Sali Hughes tried out some newly launched foundations on her IG last week, one of which is the new Double Wear Sheer. I've never tried any of the DWs before, but it looked so good on her I bought some.
Might it be EL's "replacement" for DWL?
I've been wearing it this week and it's lovely to put on though sheerer than my usual which is N7 hydraluminous.

I think you might enjoy Trinny London, de-stress as a replacement
