Massive boil type spot on jaw line

I have developed a massive spot on my jaw line that won't clear. Have tried draining but it's quite deep and where I picked it it bled. So wrong I know.

If it is deep will it clear or do I need to pay a dermatologist? Anything I can put on it?

You could try a warm compress to draw it out. Literally a clean cloth soaked in the hottest water you can tolerate and pop it on it. Once that's been on for a few minutes and the pores have opened up dab some TCP/tea tree oil/ antiseptic on the area.

Magnesium sulphate and a plaster overnight

Those little spot plasters work well for me once it’s come to a head (or picked). Dots for spots from Amazon

Thank you all!

Could it be an ingrown hair?

NCfortoday2021 · 24/02/2022 21:58

Yes I think so but how do I deal with that?!!

I had a right bastard on my cheek once. When I tried to pop it - it squeaked like polystyrene!!!

I get these about a week before my period. Only ever get one or maybe 2 but they are usually on my jaw line (or right in the middle of my forehead) lol

Sporners Corner people will definitely be able to advise (but they will want a photo Smile
