Jewellery setting recommendations in London?

I've bought a loose gem which I would like to be set in a necklace

Does anyone have any recommendations for anywhere that would be able to do this to a decent standard ie. so it won't fall out after a few weeks....mixed reviews for hatton garden jewellers so I'm a little wary, would appreciate any first hand knowledge!

TIA Smile

Try EC One - beautiful jewellery & offer a bespoke service. I’ve never used them but have been recommended.

You should try Barbara Tipple, they do really lovely jewellery and you can choose your own stones and customise a lot of their jewellery so they may be able to help?

My friend had a custom necklace made by them and the designer did everything to make the necklace fit her budget and it looked amazing. Worth a try, they have a shop right by the Wolseley now

Queen smiths is good

But I’d actually go in person, walk around and get a feel for it. Some of them immediately feel shady when you go in, others are absolutely lovely and very welcoming

I bought a good quality tsavorite when I was in Bangkok. I went to a local jeweller with the picture of the setting I wanted and they made me the ring.
