Dd2 is a leggings/T-shirt/hoodie girl. Other than school uniforn that is all she owns.
We potentially have a couple of family things coming up where she needs to be just a tiny bit less casual. I don't want her to feel uncomfortable and I don't want to spend much as it really isn't likely to get much wear. She is 12, 5 4 and pretty skinny and very sporty. Hair is shoulder length but usually tied back in a pony (occasionally French plaits if she's feeling fancy).
I thought she may like a bit of a dark academia sort of look but it didn't really hit the mark. She said trousers and top/shirt or a jumpsuit would be fine but she's a funny age - kids ranges too childish, adults (she fits a 4/6) too adult and teen stuff where her sister shops too girlie.
She has zero interest in looking so I need to find ideas and point her at them.
Where's good to look?
