Titanium ear rings

Where do you get them from? I had pierced ears as a teenager and had to give up because I was allergic to everything, even good quality gold and silver.

I've just given it another go, because I'd heard that titanium is good and so far that seems to be right. So now I can buy loads of lovely ear rings!

I've got a few pairs from Piercing Mania, does anywhere else have a good choice?

You want ASTM F-136 titanium, meaning it is implant grade, I was pierced with 'titanium' earrings and they did not heal, I switched it for a better quality titanium - I didn't realise there was different types until I looked into it.

Anatometal are a good brand to use 🙂

For a cheaper alternative have a look at medical grade plastic. I’ve also been fine with stainless steel. A couple of ideas but different people are sensitive to different things in the metals.

Piercing shop.

Pick earrings then filter and select titanium (easiest way!)

Serenity Jewellery have a pretty good range, DD is prone to reactions/infections and we've had no problems with their titanium stuff.

Find your local decent piercer. If you’re near Manchester, Holier Than Thou are brilliant.

Similar search method as pawpaws2022's recommendation, titanium is in the hypoallergenic section but it's all grouped by material.

Vulcanodon · 19/02/2022 22:46

Anatometal and neometal are the best brands. Make sure it’s not coated titanium, if you want colours you need it to be anodised instead.

Thank you everyone! I'll go and have a look at those.

No advice to add, but what a great name for a piercing business Grin

Aladdins cave on Etsy has a fantastic range of titanium jewellery including earrings, I wear their rings in place of my wedding set for work and are fantastic quality plus I’ve had no reactions despite having very sensitive skin

Related question, can anyone please recommend some titanium earring hooks so I could try to reuse my old earrings with new hooks that won't blow my ears up?
