Nice PJs / loungewear

What are your recommendations?

I feel like I’ve spent money (Stripe and Stare) and not spent money (Shein - hello sweaty polyester) and not been happy

I need to invest in some shorts/tops that will be my go-tos. Money not too much of an object but obviously not ridiculous

I love soft fabrics but lightweight too. I’m a size 12/14

Hit me! Smile

Cyberjammies, Jigsaw, British Boxers and Their Nibs all have nice cotton pjs.

I always find sainsburys pjs fit really nicely (I'm a 12/14 too) and wash really well, don't shrink etc.

RhubarbAndMustard · 19/02/2022 07:05

I'm currently wearing my first pair of Cyberjammies and love them. So comfy!

I have candy striped PJs from White Company that look classic and beautiful, and silk designer ones DH bought that are very nice, but without doubt the best are Primark cotton jersey PJs. They are the softest cotton ever and wash so well. They don't always sell them. You have to check if it's a cotton mix or that scratchy cotton. but when they have them in (usually with very trad ditsy floral print designs) they are the best.

Weirdly the most comfortable pyjamas I own are from Primark. They are really soft and have kept their shape through countless washes. For general leisure wear I also really rate the very soft leggings with pockets from Victoria's Secret and their big sweatshirts which are also very soft.

I third the Primark cotton ones. Have just ordered some cyberjammies and hoping they are good

Youngatheart00 · 19/02/2022 10:27

Thanks all for the recs….I’d prefer to buy in store so I can feel the fabric so off to primark I go!

I really love the Biba pjs from house of Fraser, they are so soft and cosy yet feel really light, generous sizing. They remind me of ones Debenhams used to do, think they were Jasper Conran.

Their Nibs has been mentioned upthread, I’d second them for fab nightwear. I’ve bought several items for myself and as presents. They come beautifully packed with a little thank you card. Nice touch.

Hasselhoffsheadband · 19/02/2022 11:32

I always think Asda has lovely soft looking lounge wear but have never bought any so don't know how well they wash etc.

victoriacan1976 · 28/05/2022 20:52

I love my stripe and stare the only things I don’t even overheat in at night. Willing to pay a bit more for something that lasts and is sustainable

CoconutAmericano · 28/05/2022 21:17

I love both victoria secret and hush pyjamas personally. Both wash a dream and look great

FormerlySpeckledyHen · 28/05/2022 21:21

Very disappointed with my Cyberjammies. Love the fabric and beautiful teal colour but they seem to be getting bigger and bigger!?!
My favourites are M & S from a couple of years ago. Soft, great fit and wash well.
