Have you had filler or botox to lift the corners of the mouth?

Actually I don't even know if botox is used for this but I believe you can have filler in the corners of the mouth to lift a downturned mouth. I think this is something I could do with as recently I definitely have 'resting bitch face'. Hmm
If you did how was it?

I have filler for that as started to look sad and grumpy all the time. Worked exactly as advertised, can recommend.

Yep I'd recommend fillers, find a reputable place with good reviews.

AfterGlow87 · 19/02/2022 11:14

Yep got filler there 3 weeks ago - I’m delighted with the results! I had just under 1ml in total for both sides. I did have bruising afterwards but was gone by day 4.

Botox also works.

This is music to my ears because I had Aliaxin a few weeks back in my cheeks and my jowl area but to be honest there is still room for improvement. I still have jowls and marionette lines AND a grumpy mouth! Hmm
Did it help with marionette lines please?

Yes it did . Go and have a consultation first. They can talk you through their suggestions and associated costs.

Just make sure it's a good clinic, read the reviews etc

@AfterGlow87 Do you have any before and after photos by any chance?

2022IamHavingYa · 20/02/2022 09:03

I’m interested in some photos too as I’m in the market for the exact same thing

AfterGlow87 · 20/02/2022 09:59

Now these are the best I have - my doctor has the official ones! I’m 4 weeks post filler. The lighting is brighter in the after one that I took yesterday for sure so not an exact before and after. I had also done my full skincare in the after one.

But I think there’s a difference and I’m happy with it. There’s no drooping when my face is at rest now at all. One side was worse than the other so the filler proportion was split 70/30

@AfterGlow87, that’s a great result. I had fillers for the same area this week. I am older than you I think as I am 50. My lines were worse and they are not completely gone like yours, but the result is subtle and natural and I love it so much!!

Gettingusedtothelimelight · 20/02/2022 10:47

@AfterGlow87 Wow that's a difference isn't it.
