Eyeliners for those who are clumsy of hand?

I'm honestly useless at eyeliner. I like how it looks but I always get it all over my eyelashes and smear it over my lids. I'm better at applying it to my waterline, however my current choices are my posh Mac liquid one where the little brush is really fine and bendy, so smears everywhere (but stays in place) or my cheap Aldi retractable pencil that is super easy to apply to my waterline, but smudges within 30 seconds.

I thought a pen might be a good compromise, because the nib is quite sturdy. But they always dry out after about two weeks!

Can anyone recommend something an idiot like me can use?

Eyeliner tattoo, game changer- also known as semi permanent make up. Never have to apply again. Mine looks great thanks 😊

Does it hurt?

If you get on better with retractable pencils then try the Chanel Stylo Yeaux waterproof retractable pencils. I have super oily skin and they've never smudged on me, once they dry they lock into place. They can be used to tight line as well.

Gel eyeliner. Bobbi brown is bomb proof for me and I have oily eyelids. Apply with mac 210 brush. Would like eyeliner tattoo but too squeamish about having it done!

This kind of thing is really good. Goes on like a pencil and stays on really well.

Avon glimmersticks.

Brilliant, I'll have a look at a few of these. Tattoo is tempting, however I'm in the middle of Invisalign so beauty budget is truly maxed right now!!

I'd say it was uncomfortable but not painful. Did make my eyes water but then so does cold, sun and wind as I have sensitive eyes. It only took about 15 mins and that was top and bottom eyeliner.

Recommend using
Dark eyeshadow with thin brush
Buff gently, voilà!
