Next perfume

I can’t afford £80 plus on a perfume so Ive started looking at cheaper alternatives. There are a couple of Next ones I like, someone recommended Aura, but I cant find it. Does anyone know if its discontinued or have any cheap perfumes they swear by?

I like Just Pink but absolutely love Cashmere (think it's a Donna Karan dupe).
Wasn't keen personally on Aura which I think was a copy of TM Alien.
I don't think it's been discontinued. Pretty sure I saw some in the window display of our local Next last weekend.

You are singing my song, OP! I'm a perfume blogger and a few days ago I write a whole blog post about the top ten best cheap-but-smells-good perfumes. It's called iscentyouaday and I can't post a link or Mumsnet will zap my post (even though I am a Mumsnet blogger).

Today I'm writing about the Superdrug Artiscent Atelier Range which is brilliant and currently half price if you're quick and shop in store. My bottle of Creme Fleur was £5.98!

Aura for Alien (its not discontinued) I use it all the time day to day and keep the Theirry Mugler Alien for special occasions
Just pink for Ralph Lauren Romance
Eau nude for Chanel coco mademoiselle
Sparkle for Just cavali Etc...
Mens aftershaves are really good dupes to.

Best next perfume is Cashmere hands down. Not too sweet and smells like a luxury perfume

@MissBattleaxe great name! Ive heard good things about the Superdrug perfumes, they don’t always seem to be stocked in my local branch though.

@princesspeppax yes thats it, a dupe for Alien. Which I do like, but I tend to need a break from it every few months. So thought a cheaper perfume a good idea. I will keep trying to track down.

@MissBattleaxe I have been readOMG your blog for years and love it! I think I discovered you via a perfume society discovery box, another bargain the OP should definitely check out.

My favourite thing is to layer Coty Laimant (£5) with Next cashmere (£5). It smells like an expensive Frederic Malle or similar!

@Turningacornernow my very old fashioned, in a good way, department store in the SW sells Coty Laimant. I do love a sweet perfume though, I like the Escada, Marc Jacobs and any Oud based ones.

OP get yourself to Bodycare, Savers and Home Bargains. You'll be amazed at what's going for a song. Ditto TK Maxx.

I love Next perfume. I've had the Sparkle one and the one like Daisy.
I got a big bottle of Eau Nude for Christmas it's my favourite. I find it a really comforting, cosy scent.

I tested lots of perfumes at Christmas including some highly expensive names but I actually preferred Next Sparkle so got a big bottle for the fraction of the price of the other brands.

Another top tip is to look for sample boxes. They are an accessible way to wear naice perfumes. I’ve had loads of perfume society boxes and also order 5 free samples plus delivery charge from Feel Unique. There are loads of other ways too. I’ve got samples of £200+ perfumes this way, get a few wears out of them and feels a bit treaty, but in a cheaper way!!

I have loads of perfumes in various price ranges, but these Superdrug ones are amazing for a cheap day perfume. One, Jasmine Nuit smells just like Good Girl. Vanilla Blush is like a Dior and there another I have that's like Coco Mademoiselle. They last all day too.
