Where to buy casual tops?!

I need to buy some casual but nice tops with long sleeves but am really struggling to find things that aren’t either cropped/90s rave style or frumpy. I used to buy a lot from Oasis/Warehouse and H&M but H&M yesterday had absolutely nothing that wasn’t cropped or nude colours which don’t suit me.

I saw someone mention Love and Roses on another thread and I bought a blouse from there but everything else was too pinky/floral. I do like prints but prefer navy, grey, mustard, khaki etc.

I like Breton style tops but don’t want to go down the Joules/FatFace route as I find them slightly frumpy.

I like boat necks or v necks and 3/4 sleeves although will roll up long ones. Plain, striped or small prints.

I’m nearly 40 with a long torso and am usually into fashion and shopping but am really struggling. Has anyone seen any nice tops? Am I too fussy?!

We're just giving this thread a bump for the OP in case anyone's around with some suggestions Smile

I really like Hobbs 3/4 length tops, they are nice quality but quite basic. M&S is also good for a V neck top.

I have a lovely top from Conquista at Wolf&Badger. Shipping is £££ and returns are a pita though.

I bought 6 tops from Peacocks fairly recently. Boat or crew neck, three quarters sleeves plain and stripy. Either £6 or £9 each. Long in the body, too. Washed well. No ironing. Happy days.

I buy lots of clothes online. The clothes tend to be one size but I find on a 12/14 they fit well.

I'd recommend Kit & Kaboodle, Manamou and Threadshed.

I've bought the stripe top from Kit & Kaboodle as it's got long sleeves and I can wear with leggings, the Black and Tan jumper from Manamou is a nod to neutrals but still with enough black to make me feel comfortable and the grey top from Threadshed is typical of their quirky style.
