Foundation / decent tinted moisturiser for my 47 year old face

I have been using BareMinerals BarePro powder foundation for YEARS - it's not really doing the best job nowadays and tends to sit in my lines and wrinkles like worms of colour Sad. I've recently tried a Mac Lightful C cream - its called Coral Grass Tinted Cream which is ok but not really covering the redness / blemishes on my cheeks.

I don't like a thick foundation and don't have a massive makeup routine - I prefer the natural look. A bit of mascara, eyeshadow, very occasionally a lip stick.

I'd like something that gives me a glow rather than just a monotone face. What do you all use? What can you recommend and are there definitely any products to give a wide berth to?

Thank you

I always recommend Erborian BB Crème au Ginseng. It covers my redness and gives a 'your skin but better' type of glow. Downsides are that it's pricey (but a tube lasts ages as a little goes a long way) and the shade range isn't great for darker skin tones. I'm pale and the 'Clair' shade is perfect on my 44 year old skin. You might be able to get a sample from Space NK?

I'm 49 and use Boots Hydraluminous, I think it would suit your requirements.

Bareminerals complexion rescue is brilliant

Bareminerals complexion rescue tinted moisturiser - I always recommend it on here. It’s really nice and sheer/ glowy, but still gives coverage.

I was going to say exactly the same as @Minesnotahighhorse. The Erborian CC Creme is the best. Agree with everything in that post. I love their pink primer & care underneath it but if I had to get one I'd go for the CC Creme. I tried it using their mini size first and I'm now on my second full size tube, don't think I'll ever go back to traditional foundation.

I have used Liz Earle tinted moisturiser for years.
Lasts all day and always looks like I’m alive again.
Great product

I use a Clarins BB cream with an spf15. Very might, doesn't clog pores or sit in wrinkles.

I use a tinted serum with Laura mercier glow powder or hourglass ambient lighting powder.

Glowy powders seem to be a thing at the mo

Thanks for your replies. I’ll have a look at them all. I like the sound of the eeborian cream and the bare mineral rescue too
