Holiday booked! The dreaded swimwear shop .........

Finally booked a holiday for this summer!
I'm mid 40's, size 16 with a lower belly and thighs, hoping to loose some weight but not sure it will happen Grin
It's been ages since I bought swimwear, the last place was Asda but they don't appear to have much in the way for my body type
I need some tummy control but nothing too frumpy and definitely a costume rather than a bikini
Don't mind paying a bit for something flattering
Looked at M&S but the reviews aren't great

Matalan have a fantastic blue swimsuit with white bits on it. Lovely fit, flattering in a 12. I reckon the 16 would look smashing

I've plumped for Boden after ordering loads. Also agree with sizing up on the bottoms, bigger than you think possible!

Boden one piece costumes are very flattering. I would look on ebay for previous season discounted ones. There are often good swimming costumes in t k Maxx too.

Biba in house of Fraser do lovely swimwear and a fair few tummy control ones.
If you go into the Frasers site they often have sales on them this time of year.
Tan and wedges flip flops ( primark £3) when bu the pool.

I've bought a lovely red Pour Moi one piece from ASOS. Its very flattering and supportive round my DD chest and ok on the body. Shame about my thighs though! Extra squats in the gym today!

Have a look either in store or on line with TKMaxx for Nip Tuck swimsuits, very good quality and some great patterns.
