Women's trouser suit

Where the hell can I get a trouser suit for work? Or even a matching jacket and trousers? I'm a 12-14, 5'4" tall and a pear shape. A lot of the time trousers gape on the waist if they fit on the hips. I don't want a jumpsuit and I would like something smart but not dull if possible. Oh and I don't want to spend over £200.

Zara's window was full of brightly coloured suits the other day. They seem to be a thing at the moment so you should find plenty of choice

For Pear shape you'd be better getting something that fits your hips and getting them taken in to fit your waist.

Thank you. I should have said, I need a sober/dark colour. Zara never fit me either.

It depends on the brand whether the trousers fit well for my shape. For trousers with a waistband, alterations can be expensive and a pig to do yourself!

Think I may be looking for the holy grail....

Have you looked at Hobbs? They do nice ones and generous sizing.

Next - much better choice online than in the shops

Thanks for the suggestions. I've actually found something which looks to be suitable at M&S - they just sell jackets and trousers separately. I'm loathe to pay very much as I'll limited wear out of it as my workplace has become much less formal.
