For people with very sensitive skin, what's your routine?

I find when I cleanse / moisturise twice daily, my skin starts to break out but if I don't moisturise daily or cleanse only once a day then it's much clearer. I've read Caroline Hirons book and she talks about ALWAYS doing these steps so I'm finding it hard to cut them out / reduce them.

My skin type is dehydrated, sensitive and combination

If you have any products that work really well I would appreciate recommendations!

I've found using water or toner cause breakouts/redness in my skin. You could try eliminating those as a trial?

I use Eucerin micellar water to cleanse and then find I don't need to use a toner. Just a moisturiser (Cliniques dram different - been using it for years - but lots of others you could use, eg Simple).

The Bioderma mic water is ok too but I find more dirt seems to come off with the Eucerin one.

CeraVe!

Miccelair water for removing eye make up

The sensitive wash for my face and removing rest of make up- use a soft fleece flannel.

Them the PM moisturiser.

I've never had such good skin skin paring down my routine.

Firstly use as few products as possible.
Cerave Cleansers & Moisturisers are good. As is Cetaphil and Clinique Cleansing Cream. But check that they are effective at removing make up. Simple is notorious for causing break outs. Even my kids react to it.
I swear by Clinique foundation/BB cream. Always use sun block. I use Clinique City Block in Summer. In winter I use Cerave am cream with spf in & foundation with Spf.
Don't scrub your face with a flannel. Cotton wool pads are fine to use.

I'm talking about avoiding using a traditional scratchy flannel of course. A fleece flannel sounds very soft.

@Cantonet - I second Clinique foundation, which one do you use? I have the even better glow.
