I’m thinking of investing, but it’s super pricey. I’d like to get the 0,3, shampoo and conditioner then the smoothing one. Can I get some opinions from users please? Do you need all of those? A hairdresser I know uses all of the above, so looking for regular punters opinions!

I just use the 0 and 3 I don’t use the shampoo and conditioner. It’s good.

I've used the 3. It's not a conditioner. I was disappointed and thought my hair would come out silky but no. I used it because my hair was breaking and I think it did help a bit.

I bought number 8, conditioning mask, just a sample size off ebay to see if it was worth it. It is. I’ve had 3 uses out of it so far and I have long hair. I will be buying more.

I use this a couple of times a week too now after it being recommended on here as being as good as olaplex. It’s lovely and a lot less faff than waiting for 10 minutes with Olaplex on your hair. Also cheaper!

3 is the one that works it's magic for me. You can get little kits of a few of them to try out before shelling out for them.

I use the treatment, number 3 and the leave in bind smoother , number 6.

I have extremely dry, damaged, coloured hair and it's not been the miracle treatment I hoped for. It still feels pretty dry and broken. It's looks/feels nice the day I use number 3 but I do think gets greasy quicker the next day. It's nice but definitely not a miracle cure.

I use 3 and 6, my hair is bleached and it really is helping, i use it every wash, my hair is easier to brush and dries faster. I just need to keep it up to really improve my hair.
Could do with buying 0 too my hairdresser said.

I use 3, the shampoo and conditioner (4 & 5) then 6 and 7 as a leave in. I love them. Not entirely sure I will buy the shampoo and conditioner again. Not sure how much difference that makes.

It lasts ages and it really does work. I am just about to order 6 & 7 again. But the first bottles lasted about 6 months. Using 3 to 3 times a week. My hair is shoulder length.

I think it’s probably like any product - works amazingly for some people but not others. I use 3, sometimes 6 and the shampoo and conditioner. I always use the oil (7???) after blow drying. It works beautifully for me on my longish, dyed dark, thick, naturally curly, hair. It smells divine and my hair is always shiny. I only wash approx every three days and, even in a very hard water area, I only use small amount of shampoo but it lathers really well. I love it. Overall I probably spend less as I can wash less with Olaplex compared to other brands. If you can get the sample sizes I’d say do that first before committing.

Thanks so much everyone-I’ll definitely be looking out for deals on the sample sizes

Have a look on eBay too as people seem to offload discarded advent calendar items there.

RatherHaveARatThanAGhostCat · 14/02/2022 22:57

I really only buy the 3 on repeat and I always have it at home. I didn't see much difference between using the 0 and water to be honest (you use them both to wet the hair before putting 3 on). The shampoo is definitely good but not so amazing that I'm hooked on it as an everyday essential. I would happily use all of them, but that's too expensive for me. I don't have bleached or coloured hair, just plain long brown virgin hair. Still, the 3 definitely helps my hair.

My hairdresser recommended Olaplex at the weekend, and another customer had bought from www.justmylook.com/

There was 20% off Olaplex at the weekend but it is now 22%.
