A little bra assitance

Having spent too long in a couple of badly fitting t shirt bras and bralettes over lockdown, I need to bite the bullet and get a bra that fits properly (and accept that this is the size I am going to be for the time being).

I am a 36E, (using the proper fitting method), and generally suit a balconette shape - as everything is a bit droopier than I'd like.

When I was in the habit of buying bras, I used to get Curvy Kate balconettes in exciting colours but their styles seem to have changed and I couldn't see anything that caught my eye.

Can anyone recommend brands/styles that might suit me?

Bumping in case there is any one of a lingerie persuasion around

I like Freya

Check out BOB (Boob or Bust) on Facebook… so much guidance there ☺️

@AdamRyan - any particular style you'd recommend? I have seen them recommended before, maybe for balconette styles

@MirrorMirrorApplePie I do follow them on Fb but to be honest it looks like such a palaver that I've never done all my measurements. I know I would get an excellently fitting bra if I did.

Sadly, I'm no longer near a Bravissimo or the lovely independent lingerie shop I used to go to who could similarly size you up by looking at you

That does look nice and the same sort of shape as some of my Curvy Kate ones.

Out of stock in my size on that site but I might see if I can find it elsewhere.

I’m a 36F and the Panache Tango suits me, better than anything else, both in terms of comfort and support. It also comes in an inspiring range of colours, which suits me as l don’t do white or beige, although they are available for those who want them. I prefer to live life in colour.

The interesting thing is new colours are regularly introduced (strike while the iron’s hot if you want the matching knickers which are also very comfy) older colours are phased out and discounted. Nobody has yet said to me “that bra is so last season” 😂.

@StarlightLady Thanks.
That one looks great too and good to know it's an ongoing style with new colours to come. I don't do white or beige either and very happy to wear last season's colour. Smile

I'll see if I can find them both on the same site somewhere and order a couple of different sizes to try.

There are some lovely coloured curvy Kate ones here www.brastop.com/collections/curvy-kate-bras?refinementList%5Bnamed_tags.SZ%5D%5B0%5D=36E&refinementList%5Bvendor%5D%5B0%5D=Curvy%20Kate&refinementList%5Bnamed_tags.Bra%20Style%5D%5B0%5D=Balconette my grandson was most impressed with my yellow one

Thanks @GettingStuffed. I'd skimmed those but not looked in any detail as they didn't look like the ones I used to get. I'll have a proper look.

Here's to fabulous coloured underwear and banish the beige! Grin
