What teeth whitening products have worked for you?

So I'd really like to get my teeth whitened. I love tea but it shows too much. I brush my teeth every day but it doesn't make a difference. What the hell brands work? Are there any actual things I could pick up in Boots that work or would I be better off getting them professionally done? I'm willing to spend money but don't want to harm my teeth either in the long run so don't know whether I'd be better of going DIY or getting a professional treatment! Please help!

Crest White Strips work. But you can’t get them here afaik.

I had Enlighten done at the dentist. The dentist has moulds made, gives you 2 weeks’ worth of gel to wear overnight and then does an in-house treatment.

The results were amazing. As I have my moulds, I can either buy more gel from the dentist to top up yearly or, what I actually do is buy much stronger gel online.

I think it cost £500.

I had mine done at the dentist for £300 , best money I've spent !

Crest white strips, you can get them from the US amazon site and get them posted here. The 2 hour express are really good, you get noticeable results in a couple of days.

Phillips zoom from the dentist

I did enlighten via my dentist too. Great results overall. But for me the whitening gel was so bloody painful that I had to take regular breaks from it and ended up spending a whole month getting through it rather than the normal 2 weeks! Not sure if anyone else had a similar experience. That said, I'll probably do it again next year for a refresh Smile

I tried Phillips Zoom from the dentist, it was £150. It was ok, not amazing, I drink too much coffee and the results have worn off now. I asked to buy more gel as I have the moulds and he said I would need more moulds again, so I haven't bothered.
I'm currently using this Blanx from Superdrug. It does make a noticable difference although they're not as white as I would like them to be. I would say it's lightened them 3-4 shades. You have to use it regularly though www.superdrug.com/Toiletries/Dental/Whitening-Kits/BlanX-White-Shock-Treatment-50ml/p/730340

Dill what gel do you buy on line? I've had my teeth done with Enlighten & am interested in keeping it up!

Enlighten rather than zoom i have the same issue and my dentist said zoom wouldn't work on tea and coffee enlighten is more expensive and more involved but is better at lifting stains

Crest white strips for me - I loaded up last time I was in the US but but them online in the interim.

Bonus of having nice white teeth is that I can wear red and orange lipsticks without my teeth looking banana hued. Grin

Go to the dentist, you’re risking long term damage by diy
