How to tie in with wedding colours

I'll be attending a wedding where DH is the best man, and I don't know how to choose an outfit!

Normally we'd wear at least complementary colours when going to a formal occasion together. However, his suit will match the groom's, but I'm obviously not supposed to try to match the bridesmaids. Do I steer clear of any of the wedding colours?

I’d just wear anything that doesn’t resemble the bridesmaid dresses!

Do you know the wedding party colours? I would wear a colour that compliments the colour but not wear the same colour.
But tbh I got married last week and only know what others wore by looking at the photographs 😄
