Treatment for facial thread veins

Has anyone had IPL (or any other treatment) for thread veins on their face? I've had them round my nose since I was a teenager, and I'm early forties now. I'm very pale, and I'd love to be able to stop using industrial quantities of concealer to hide them.
I've got a consultation at a salon next weekend to talk it through, and I'd love to know if anyone's had this done and if it worked well.

I had it done and it worked well but I think it can depend on where you get it done. I had it done around my nose years ago and it was expensive but effective. I had it done at a local salons more recently. It was a lot cheaper than I paid years ago but didn't seem so effective. You may need more than one session it depends how many veins you have but you should see some sort of improvement. It is quite painful although some places might use numbing cream.

Thanks, that's helpful Smile Stupidly, I didn't even think about it hurting! I use home IPL on my legs, but this'll obviously be a different type of machine. I'll definitely ask about numbing cream then Confused
