DH has offered to buy me something in this sort of price range because 'I deserve a treat' apparently! Most of my own money goes on the kids and I rarely buy new clothes. I love this in black but wondered if it might be too frumpy. I'm 30, 5ft 8 and a size 8 :)

Any comments or alternative suggestions welcome.

It's lovely , if I was your size and height I'd wear it. Go for it op.

MollieSheep1 · 13/02/2022 19:01

Thank you @DoubleGauze I think I will go for it!

I don't know anymore. A lot of the dresses in the shops look frumpy to me but that's probably because when I was growing up grandmas wore dresses like that

Casheeeew · 13/02/2022 19:05

It looks nice, 90s boho, would look greats with dr martens.

Not keen on the zip, if that what it is though.

Latara · 13/02/2022 19:06

It's really pretty. I saw a photo of someone famous in that dress actually, could be Millie Mackintosh or similar. It looked good.

Lemonweightloss · 13/02/2022 19:09

I love it. It's my type of dress. I'm mid 50s, a size 16 / 18 and I'd wear it. I love it in red.

IbizaToTheNorfolkBroads · 13/02/2022 19:22

If that was my style, I’d love it. I don’t dislike it, it’s just not my style. I’d choose it over tailored seperates though.

bluesugar · 13/02/2022 19:35

Beautiful

SarahJessicaPorker · 13/02/2022 19:38

Nice!

GettingStuffed · 13/02/2022 19:40

I love it, very boho

Riverlee · 13/02/2022 21:33

Gorgeous, and I’d wear it !

countdowntonap · 13/02/2022 21:40

It’s gorgeous, and the reviews show lots of customers wearing the dress and it looks amazing on them all. I love Free People and think their clothes are always cut well to show off women’s bodies.

cherrysthename · 13/02/2022 21:41

I'd go for it but I would say that cos half my wardrobe is from Free People

gingerhills · 13/02/2022 21:46

I love it.

AnyFucker · 13/02/2022 21:48

I like that

Fridafever · 13/02/2022 21:50

Very nice

StarlightLady · 14/02/2022 07:25

Go for it! Then if you decide you don’t like it, I’ll have it!!!

MargotEmin · 14/02/2022 07:28

It's OK, definitely prefer it in the black. If I had your height/ build I'd probably just save my money by walking around naked to be honest.

Enjoy!

MollieSheep1 · 14/02/2022 08:45

@MargotEmin Tempting Grin but not everyone needs to see this mum tum!

I have also been eyeing that dress OP. Lovely.

GeneParmesanPrivateEye · 14/02/2022 10:55

I have it and love it!

GeneParmesanPrivateEye · 14/02/2022 10:55

(Get it!)

User0610134049 · 14/02/2022 10:57

It’s a bit loud for me but I am older, shorter and fatter than you so if you like it and would wear it then go for it!

ChickenStripper · 14/02/2022 11:15

It looks like the kind of thing you get from Monsoon. I'm not sure I would pay that price for it. I'm a bit prejudiced though as remember all of this stuff in Monsoon in its heyday.

Purplecatshopaholic · 14/02/2022 11:16

Lovely dress. Defo go for it
