Are they sporty? My DN17 is into brands like Nike, Adidas, Jordan, Boss etc.

itbemay1 · 12/02/2022 20:30

Not really sporty but likes nike. Is hollister any good for this age?! Thx

My DS is a similar age and finds most of the brands he likes are sold by Foot Asylum - Alessandro Zanetti, Glorious Gangsta, Kings will Dream, Nicce. He likes hoodies, t-shirts and joggers with big logos and embroidered details. At that age they are just starting to get very particular about what they like to wear. I would ask the teenager what they would like if that's possible.

Damn. I was coming on to say I have a beautiful 1950’s style skirt from Laura Ashley that is over 20 years old.

Depends what part of the country he lives and if he's a sporty football, rugby 17 year old or a stake, surfing kind of 17 or a geeky 17 year old who's into metal.. etc

All so different mine are both skate and wouldn't wear Nike or other suggestions it's all stussy and huff with some random other skate hoodies and they buy from "route one"

Me too. I was coming on to talk fondly about my 22 year old leather jacket.

@TracyMosby & @LemonCake79 I have a 22 year old velvet jacket that I can't part with!

@itbemay1, I had the most beautiful velvet jacket that I wore all the time at about 15. It was my mum's. I bitterly regret that I didn't keep it. I don't even know what happened to it.

I'd be way too big for it now but DD could totally rock it.

Mine is very snug but I'm holding on to it!
