I’m after the bigger ones for volume and large wave/bouncy curls but that actually hold?

Bumping, I was just thinking about this today!

Journeynotdestination · 12/02/2022 18:36

I’d love to know too!

bonfireheart · 12/02/2022 18:37

And me :)

Uh oh so many people wanting the answer instead of being able to recommend Grin I tried Remington pro luxe and babyliss Thermo ones that are ‘heated rollers’ and didn’t like either.

I bought these recently for my daughter Remington H9100 Proluxe Heated Rollers
This is the result, does that help?

Best hot rollers for long hair?

Oooh yes! Thank you @toothgenie !

DH bought me the Cloud Nine O set last year. Pricey, and I needed some extra rollers as I have a fair amount of hair, but they are brilliant. You heat each roller as you need it in a matter of seconds. They hold well and lots of sizes of roller depending on what look you want.

Embark · 12/02/2022 20:10

@toothgenie I tried those ones they just left me with uneven curls with kinks in my hair no matter how I secured them Confused

I’ll have a look at cloud 9, thanks.

I do want big ones as apprised to small as my hair is long and I want it for volume and waves/loose bouncy curls

Another vote for Cloud 9 O rollers.

Had a look at cloud 9, it says they are for short to mid length hair…. Mine is half way down my back so they don’t look suitable?

My hair is mid back too! I had no idea they weren't supposed to be suitable.

Embark · 13/02/2022 09:11

@LimpLettice ah ok that’s good to know. What kind of curl? Do you get any kinks from the clips?

OP posts:
ThanksItHasPockets · 13/02/2022 09:22

They’re just hot Velcro rollers so if you have any of those you can test if the sizes work for you. The set comes with 30mm, 40mm, and 50mm rollers. If your hair is very long you might also want 60mm rollers but the set is already pretty expensive and you would have to buy them separately.

LimpLettice · 13/02/2022 10:19

Depends on the rollers as @ThanksItHasPockets

I have a mixture so can do proper curls or lots of body. The clips are long tined and light, so I don't get marks.

Not sure who they are by but I use the heated curling pods .
Have very long hair .
It takes me about 3 mins to roll up 12 pods and press to close .
Drive to work amd take out on the way .
Then run my fingers through and the curls stay in all day . I get some lovely comments too .
Both my daughters have bought the same set now too as I was fed up of them pinching mine !

Embark · 13/02/2022 12:10

@easterdaffsx I have tried something similar to what you decide. I just want big bouncy loose kind of thing? Not actual curls.

OP posts:
ThanksItHasPockets · 13/02/2022 12:54

The other option would be one of those heatless curl kits that you sleep in?

Embark · 13/02/2022 14:18

@ThanksItHasPockets I find heatless doesn’t hold a curl! Tried all sorts including the dressing gown method!
