Unsure about new boots.

Help. Just bought these boots as an online impulse buy and now Ive got them I'm not sure. Need some opinions....

They are lovely and guess they are comfy. What are you planning to wear them with? They would look good with dresses and tights and mom type jeans. I think if wearing with skinny jeans I would put on some chunky socks to break up the silhouette. Definitely keepers though!

I think it is the laces, they look a little flimsy. I would change them!

They’re nice and I really like the style. They’re a bit shiny for my liking though. I’d much prefer them if they were a bit more matte. But they look good on you and they’re a good price.

I like them ! And you have great legs so they are good proportionally.

You could put a sock on if you wanted to look more casual but I also like the lean look of skinnies to boots unbroken ifswim.

They're alright just tighten the laces so they're not big loops.

Thx all. That really helps. I'm late 40s and feel like I've lost my sense of style and judgement over lockdown. I want these for casual wear with jeans and leggings to get me out of trainers for a change. I'll look into getting better laces and give the chunky socks look a go too.

I agree it's the laces, and if they are long wrap them round the boot and tie at the front rather than leaving big loops.

I like them (don’t have a view on the laces) and I agree about mum/straight jeans rolled up or cropped and I agree with dresses and tights. I’m sorry but I don’t like the skinny jeans or leggings options and so I’m going to suggest something very controversial… joggers (see pic) [hides]

Love them, but agree about the laces. Swap them fit thicker, round laces, like waking boot laces.

Great brand and price. You will wear them forever! Love them.

I've got these and I love them. I usually wear them with skinny jeans, but have tried them with maxi and knee-length dresses & they worked well.
