Where do you get decent bras these days?

I used to like Victoria’s Secret for the fit and general comfort level whilst still looking attractive. I no longer live near one and don’t know if they’re good? For the last 2 years I’ve been in nursing bras.

Bravissimo looked like it was for larger chested ladies or am I wrong?

Local lingerie shop

Dora Larsen are really good. Small British brand.

Try Sloggi, the most comfortable bra I've ever had!

Local lingerie shop
This ^^

We have a brilliant independent lingerie shop in our local small market town. I'm not very curvaceous, but I was absolutely gobsmacked at the size of bras suggested, and they fit beautifully.

Are we both talking about the shop that begins with F @IbizaToTheNorfolkBroads?

IbizaToTheNorfolkBroads · 10/02/2022 22:50

We are @RampantIvy. Pink door.

Bras are so individual. John Lewis have a range of brands, colours (I don’t do white or beige) and sizes with knowledgable staff.

If you find one that really works for you and can afford more than one in that style, go for it.

Don’t discount Ann Summers either, they stock styles which you might not expect.

Bravissimo do all sizes in bras. They just also cater for larger sizes which a lot of high street retailers don't. I only wear Fantasie because they suit my shape (I'm a 30HH) but when I was smaller I wore a lot of Freya or M&S bras. First I suggest you get properly measured to find your size rather than going for the same size you always go for. Don't go to M&S or Debenhams for measuring, make sure it's a proper lingerie shop or a bravissimo store.

Fantasied work best for me. But basically you need to go into a shop and try loads on.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 11/02/2022 08:49

Fantasie - god knows where that d came from.
