Waxing- anyone reassure me?

I really want a bikini wax for my holiday later this year. But being from Asian descent I’m very hairy and I’m embarrassed to go! I went for a Brazilian when I was 18 and was traumatised as the lady couldn’t do it as my hair was too thick. I’ve never had a wax since and I’m now 38 and even more hairy!

I don’t want loads off just the edges so I can wear my bikini with out looking like I’ve put pants on a hedge. But I’m just so nervous about the beautician being horrified at how hairy I am.

Any comforting words? I don’t think I could do it myself.

Buy a bikini trimmer with an adjustable comb length (Remington do them) and trim the whole lot before you go for the wax. Make sure you set the length to 5mm or the longest possible otherwise it might be too short to wax.

I use scissors to trim away some of the length of I’ve left it long between waxes.

The beautician won’t care. They will have seen worse or if not they should be professional enough to not mention it.

My friend said she had one just before giving birth, and ‘couldn’t feel a thing’
