Fix my face

I'm 35 weeks pregnant and I'm not looking my best (massive understatement)!

I also have a 20 month old who's running me ragged and I'm not sleeping. Not only has my face doubled in size during this pregnancy but it's patchy in colour - red cheeks, dark around mouth and eyes and pale everywhere else. It's as unattractive as it sounds.

I don't have the time or energy for a 'skin care regime' as such at the moment so am looking for recommendations for tinted moisturisers or the like just to cover it for now. Once baby's here and I have a bit more ooomph (wishful thinking) then I'll tackle it properly if it hasn't sorted itself out.

Any recommendations would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Garnier BB cream, No 7 tinted moisturiser and Erborian BB cream get lots of good reviews on here. If you are pale, choose carefully as some don’t go pale enough.

Sounds like you may have melasma due to hormones- if so then look for something with SPF as sun makes melasma worse.

Oh the nivea bb cream is good for the price too.

You can mix a small blob of foundation with your favourite moisturiser and use that - I find it much better than tinted stuff.
It does sound like melasma though, so you might want to get that checked.

I use the aveda tinted moisturiser. It's the only one that I like the texture of and that's almost pale enough for my skin.

I might look at bare minerals mineral foundation as it's light but will cover quite a lot of issues. Doesn't take long to just buff on.
