Work trousers for the short and fat

Hi all, I'm hoping you'll have some recommendations for me.

I'm starting a new office job in two weeks after working as a cleaner for the last 4 years so for the first time in so long I'm going to need to look smart for work. It's an nhs job so I'll get blouses from them but need to get my own black work trousers. I'm around a size 20 and only 5'2/3 so need trousers that will accommodate both of those things. The last time I had to wear trousers like this was when I was at school and even though I was much slimmer then, I always struggled to find ones that were comfortable, smart and suited my curves. So I've been putting off looking for the last few weeks but I'm hoping there will be a better selection now than when I was at school ten years ago.

Thanks in advance!

I buy my trousers from M&S, they do an elasticated wait range which have many different lengths and sizes.

I have a belly and can't wear anything with a zip and button, so this is great.

These or these?

Thick jersey / ponte roma trousers will be ideal, slim leg or slightly wider leg depending on what looks better with your shoes. If you can find any with pockets they will be a bonus.
Practically everywhere that sells clothes have a version of them.
