Alternative to a full slip?

I have a linen blend dress that I love. Problem is it is white and too see through to wear comfortably.
I’d like to wear it in a very hot country but the thought of an extra layer under it doesn’t appeal. Any ideas?

Line the dress in a soft cotton material?

I just use cotton slips, more comfortable than the polyester ones.

I must try again for a cotton one, all I’ve seen are polyester

Silk feels amazing even in heat

I will look on Etsy
I don’t know if I can afford silk though 😟
