Recommend me some more high end brands that do plus sizes?

I’ve just bought a couple of things from Never Fully Dressed and am absurdly pleased with them. I can’t wait to wear the dress and the sweater feels so heavy and expensive. Pics below (although the Curve dress is out of stock so she’s the thin version!)

If I’m honest I’m not really looking for anything in particular, but I like colour. I like classic lines and colours but I am a fan of the statement piece! I’ve looked on Hush and The White Company (so far) but they only go up to a size 16-18 which if I’m honest is not big enough. I don’t want to fall into the trap of buying something a bit too small.

Any recommendations?

Off the top of my head,

Reformation

Marina Rinaldi

both do plus size clothing as standard. Or alongside the usual 12 -18 sizes.

From memory, both Toast and Kowtow make clothes in extra generous sizes so may work for plus sizes without saying so. (But I don’t know if this is still the case for both.)

Not high fashion but I like some of the things Seasalt do, and they go up to size 26 or 28. Sizing is usually generous too - I can get into some of their 18 petite styles which is great as I am short and fat. They use a lot of natural fibres and quality is very good. They can be pricey but have really good sales. They also have an outlet on eBay. I got some cotton PJs in the current sale which are the best I have ever owned.

I concur about Toast - I am size 18-20 and bought a size 18 dress in their sale. I had to return it and get it in a 16 it was so big.

Another option is one of the many smaller labels popping up. I am a fan of Glasgow brands Love & Squalor and LAW Clothing. Both make clothes up to size 24 at least, using eco-friendly fabrics. You can get a hand made dress from them for less than anything in Toast, and probably on a par with the Never Fully Dressed Prices. There will be other companies doing similar. I am trying to buy more from places like this when I can.

Thanks @CocteauTwin - I've just been browsing the LAW site and found a couple of pieces that I'm going to order. Buy less, buy better and buy ethical.

Brilliant I will try all of these. I'm really into buying stuff I love and clearing out the million tops I don't really like but keep just in case.

Anthropologi3 have lots of clothes in plus sizes. They are lovely.

I also like Wrap. I buy in the sale tho.

Thought I'd let you know that after being really pleased with the bits I bought in Feb, I bought some more and sent it all back. Really disappointed.

I bought 3 t-shirts and a top. The sizing is not consistent across the board - the XL in the orange jumper from the Curve range fits beautifully, whereas the t-shirts which were also XL but I think not part of that range were too tight. Plus one was faulty.

I also wore the Love dress for the first time this weekend just gone, and while I love it, it's very expensive for an unlined dress with no pockets! Not sure I'd buy again but it was nice for a party.
